Russian troops are building trenches in northern Crimea

New fortifications have appeared near the Dzhankoya checkpoint between the Crimea and the Kherson region and near Armyansk on the Perekop Isthmus.

Fortifications are also actively being built in the Kherson region, for example near the village of Novotroitske on the road to Henicheska.

On Wednesday, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu ordered the withdrawal of troops from the right bank of the Dnieper, which has occupied part of the Kherson region. It would also mean leaving the city of Kherson.
