Russian tennis players Veronika Kudermetova and Lyudmila Samsonova failed to reach the semi-finals of Roland Garros, the second Grand Slam tournament of the season, in doubles.

In the 1/4 finals, the Russians lost to Chinese Xinyu Wang and Taiwanese Xie Shuwei with a score of 3:6, 2:6.

Xinyu Wang and Xie Shuwei will play against American Nicole Melicar and Australian Ellen Perez in the semi-finals.

Kudermetova and Samsonova remained the last representatives of Russia at Roland Garros.
