Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev reached the fourth round of Wimbledon, the third Grand Slam of the season.
In the second round, the 25-year-old Russian, seeded at the tournament under the seventh number, defeated the Belgian David Goffin, the 123rd racket of the world, with a score of 6:3, 6:7 (6:8), 7:6 (7:5), 6:2.
For reaching the quarterfinals, Rublev will compete with the representative of Kazakhstan, Alexander Bublik.

Rublev is ranked seventh in the world ranking. The Russian has 13 ATP titles. At the Tokyo Olympics, he became the Olympic champion in the mixed doubles. In April, Rublev won the Masters in Monte Carlo. The Russian entered the fourth round of Wimbledon for the second time in his career, the first was in 2021.
Wimbledon will end on July 15th. The total prize pool of the tournament is £44.7 million.
