Russian Telegram channels on the evening of April 11 began to distribute a video with the execution of a Ukrainian soldier. His blurred version published Ukrainian blogger Igor Lachenkov.
“The Russians filmed a terrible video of the brutal beheading of a captured Ukrainian soldier. This is another heinous crime of the Russian army and a violation of all conventions and moral principles of mankind,” Lachenkov commented.
He added that this should not be the case in the 21st century.
“This is pure terrorism, literal torture to death, the execution of a helpless man who screams in excruciating pain for help and begs not to kill him. Everyone should understand this and take action,” he added.
“GORDON” does not publish this video for moral reasons and does not recommend it for viewing because of the violent scenes.
Also posted video commented activist Sergei Sternenko. He also urged Ukrainians not to watch it.
“I don’t recommend watching it, especially now. We know who the Russians are. A new video won’t make you mentally healthy, better take care of yourself. The Russians are bastards, complete scum who will burn both on earth and in hell. Remember that it is better to convert your hatred into donations and help the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” he said.
Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak reacted to what happened with a short phrase: “There will be an answer and responsibility for everything.”
This is not the first time Russian occupiers execute Ukrainian soldiers, filming it on video. The last such high-profile incident occurred in early March. At that time, a video of the execution of a Ukrainian prisoner of war by several Russian occupiers, who opened fire on a Ukrainian from automatic weapons after his words: “Glory to Ukraine!”
