The video recording and statements from Kursk residents were sent via Telegram to describe the situation of attacks by Ukrainian soldiers in the village of Sudzhansky, Kursk region, Russia.

“This lie caused the death of local residents. Recently the Chief of the General Staff said that the situation was under control, but today a big fight is taking place in Sudzhansky and Korenevsky,” said one resident who recorded a fight between Ukrainian and Russian soldiers.

“Sudzha was attacked, completely destroyed in just a few hours. The local government could not do anything,” the resident repeated.

Several residents complained that there was no organized evacuation process, so the attack by the Ukrainian army shocked residents. Residents had to leave their homes in the middle of the night without having time to take their belongings and documents with them.

They are also unable to contact family and relatives who are still behind.

“We fled amid the bombs and gunfire. We ran amid the rubble,” said another resident of Kursk.

“We went with the children without knowing where we were going, without compensation and without money. We only went with the clothes on our bodies,” said the resident with anonymous identity.

Based on information from residents of the village of Malaya Loknya in the Kursk region, almost 90 percent of the town has been under the control of Ukrainian troops.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Health said that 66 people, including children, were injured as a result of attacks by Ukrainian soldiers in Kursk. Medical supplies, blood bags, were prepared according to what is needed.
