The blow fell on a parking area near a residential nine-story building. Head of the Kharkiv Regional Administration Oleg Sinegubov later clarified, the blow was delivered by an Iskander missile. Windows were shattered in nine multi-storey buildings. Four cars burned down, one car was damaged.
Head of the police department in the Kharkiv region Volodymyr Timoshko clarifiedthat the youngest injured children are three and nine months old. Earlier, Sinegubov said that among the victims there is a ten-month-old baby and a one-year-old child. The condition of the ten-month-old boy, who was taken to the intensive care unit, was stabilized. Other children received minor shrapnel wounds, bruises and scratches.
Timoshko pointed out that only residential buildings are located near the parking lot. According to him, this is a peaceful area of the city, where there is not a single military facility or military vehicle.
According to Sinegubov, during the day on July 4, Russian troops fired mortars and artillery at Veterinary, Kazachya Lopan, Kharkov region, Budarki, Chuguevsky region, Petro-Ivanovka, Novomlinsk, Kupyansky region.
In Izyum, a 32-year-old man was blown up by an explosive device; he was hospitalized in serious condition.
