The channel denied the report that Delimkhanov was killed.
“According to the press service of the lower house, the parliamentarian is alive, he was injured,” the statement said.
Earlier, political scientist Kirill Sazonov, who is fighting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, wrote on Facebook that Kadyrov’s ally was killed by Ukrainian Special Operations Forces in Primorsk, Zaporozhye region.
According to Sazonov, Delimkhanov’s cortege was fired from artillery. Together with the deputy, about 200 people from his entourage allegedly died. The bodies, according to Sazonov, were taken out by helicopter to keep the incident a secret.
Kadyrov himself declared in Telegram that he cannot get in touch with Delimkhanov.
“I ask Ukrainian intelligence to provide information on exactly what place and what positions were hit, so that I can still find my dear brother. I promise a generous reward and I ask you to help,” he wrote.
