Russian State Duma Deputy Konstantin Zatulin Opposes Complete Takeover of Ukraine: Latest News

Russian State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin publicly opposed the complete takeover of Ukraine, as anti-Russian sentiment is strong there.

Statements on Russian state television are increasingly heard about the need to curtail aggression against Ukraine. Russian State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin, who ardently supported the SVO, admitted that the occupation of all of Ukraine was too much for Russia to handle.

A representative of the Putin regime made a loud statement on the air of the propaganda talk show “60 Minutes,” Dialogue.UA reports.

Zatulin complained that no matter how much Russia wanted, it would not be possible to completely capture Ukraine, depriving it of statehood.

We must be realistic about our real prospects. I think that Ukraine, whether we like it or not, (…) will remain. It will persist because the level of confrontation is actually very high. In fact, there are staunch opponents of Russia within Ukraine. For example, I am against us making plans for some (…) inclusion (occupation – ed.) of Western Ukraine… It’s like launching a Trojan horse“, said the State Duma deputy.

He also began to scare the Russians with the fact that if they tried to take over all of Ukraine, they would have to fight partisans for decades, just like in Stalin’s times.

Earlier, Kremlin propagandist Soloviev radically changed his rhetoric about Putin’s “SVO”.

We also wrote that Russian propaganda resources are losing subscribers and viewers en masse.
