The department of the aggressor country said that the attack was carried out at about 22:55 in 237 km south-west of Sevastopol.
According to the Russians, the attack was repulsed from the onboard armament of the ships of the Black Sea Fleet – the patrol ship “Inquisitive” and the patrol ship “Vasily Bykov”. And the drone itself was allegedly destroyed without reaching its goal.
Traditionally, the Russians blame Ukraine for the attack.
Attacks on the Russian ship
Recall that on the night of August 4, explosions were heard near the port of Novorossiysk in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. The Russian Defense Ministry announced the attack of sea drones and blamed Ukraine.
Sources from RBC-Ukraine confirmed that the SBU carried out a special operation in the bay of Novorossiysk, as a result of which the Olenegorsky Gornyak landing ship was damaged. According to available information, the Russians will not soon be able to repair the ship.
The very next night, a large SIG oil tanker loaded with fuel was attacked by drones in the area of the Kerch Strait. The special operation was carried out by the SBU together with the Ukrainian Navy.
According to the speaker of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmitry Pletenchuk, the Russian fleet in the Black Sea is trying to stay off its coast after the attacks of naval drones and damage to ships.
