Today, February 27, at 12 o’clock, the Russians shelled the Khotyn community in the Sumy region, as a result of the shelling, two policemen were killed and four were injured of varying degrees of severity. The names of the dead law enforcement officers have already become known.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration. It is noted that the enemy fired artillery at a populated area that he had already hit on the same day. “The premises of the agricultural company were also damaged. The removal of the rubble continues. All necessary assistance is being provided to the victims,” the message says.
At the same time, Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko wrote on Telegram that an investigative team went to document the consequences of the attacks on the farm building. “And at this time the enemy struck again. They aimed artillery at law enforcement officers. Rescuers pulled out the bodies of two policemen from under the rubble,” noted the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Thus, police lieutenant colonel Oksana Vladimirovna Novik, head of the investigation department of crimes committed during an armed conflict of the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Sumy region, received injuries incompatible with life.
