“A pair of snipers from the 6th Combined Arms Army of the Western Group of Forces destroyed a target at a distance of 1,450 meters in the Kupyansk direction. The shot was fired from a Dragunov sniper rifle,” writes TASS with reference to the Russian Ministry of Defense. The fighters used a standard sight. It is noteworthy that a sniper rifle of this series is usually used to hit targets up to 500 meters.
A fighter with the call sign Zveroboy, who participated in the destruction of the enemy, said that the command praised him for “the best shot in the entire Kupyansk direction.” He clarified that before the SVO he was a hunter.
