A scientist from the Moscow region wrote a statement to the Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs against Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Scientists in the Russian Federation can no longer tolerate Vladimir Putin’s claims to be an educated and erudite person. His speech on January 16, in which he boasted of his “conquests” in Ukraine, became the reason for the expert to appeal to the Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation with a demand to initiate a criminal case against the dictator.

So, less than a week ago, Putin said that negotiations during which they would try to persuade the Russian Federation to “give up the gains that we have realized over the past year and a half” are impossible.
It is these words of the President of the Russian Federation that fall under Art. 353 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (initiation of war), “since Putin calls the territories of Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions of Ukraine conquered.” However, in “Efremova’s Explanatory Dictionary” it is clearly stated that “conquest” is exclusively the violent conquest of territory. These words of the dictators shatter to smithereens his own theory about the “voluntary” expression of will of the residents of the occupied regions of Ukraine and boasting about the results of illegal “referendums”.
“I come to the following conclusions: 1. Planning, preparing or unleashing an aggressive war is punishable by imprisonment for a term of 7 to 15 years. 2. Waging an aggressive war is punishable by imprisonment for a term of 10 to 20 years.“, the scientist wrote.
He considers Putin guilty of committing a “particularly grave crime,” which resulted in a war against Ukraine.
In this regard, the scientist asks the law enforcement agencies to open a criminal case and give him a written response on the progress of the investigation.
The Kremlin has not yet commented on the determination of the anonymous scientist.
By the way, on January 16, Putin also statedthat if Kyiv had agreed to negotiations in the spring of 2022, the Kremlin would have agreed to them.
On the same day he saidthat he does not understand the meaning of the word independence in relation to Ukraine. Moreover, Putin assures that he never attempted to assassinate her.
