On Wednesday, RAI broadcast a special report from Kursk, which shows Italian journalists driving over the border, escorted by Ukrainian soldiers, and being driven all the way to Sudzja, 10 kilometers from the border , where they interviewed local residents.
The Italian ambassador Cecilia Piccioni defended the freedom of the press and explained at the meeting with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the journalists plan their work completely freely and independently.
