Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved the termination of a bilateral agreement with Finland, Interfax reported.
The agreement is cross-border cooperation and has been in force for 11 years.
The Finnish government will soon be informed of the change.
This was confirmed by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Finland has taken a series of decisions over the past year. The country banned the entry of cars with Russian registration.
It is becoming more and more integrated into Western groups. This prompted the Russian side to take decisions.
The Finnish government does not intend to change its actions.
