Mishustin said, at a meeting of the Russian Council of Ministers: “Our country is bound by historical friendship and mutual respect. And now it is getting stronger despite all the sanctions and the actions of our opponents.”
He added, “It is important to move forward in order for the two countries’ cooperation to rise to a new level. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that everything that the leaders of the two countries agreed on earlier must be implemented and achieve tangible results.”
During the visit, Mishustin met with Chinese Premier Li Xiang and Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Wednesday that his country and China will firmly confront some countries to impose their will through sanctions, and create conditions for moving forward.
