The fate of the Ukrainian Embassy buildings in Moscow after the termination of the lease agreement will be decided in accordance with the interests of Russia. Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told reporters about this.
“This relates more to foreign policy activities, and in this case the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the coordinating agency. This was precisely the department that coordinates the work of all government bodies, even municipal authorities, in the field of foreign policy,” Peskov said in response to a question whether this decision was agreed upon with the Kremlin.
“Further, all decisions will be made in accordance with our interests,” the Kremlin speaker noted, as quoted by TASS.
As previously reported, the Moscow City Property Department decided to terminate lease agreements for land plots provided for the location of the Ukrainian Embassy.
