Russian President Vladimir Putin again seemed unable to control his left leg and coughed too much during his lengthy interview with right-wing US journalist Tucker Carlson this week. Some video fragments show how his foot makes a circular motion exercises. The world press also thinks about it.

This has been a strange habit of Putin’s for some time – it started around September 2022, when his leg began to twitch while speaking in front of schoolchildren in the Kaliningrad exclave.
The strange swaying motion returned last year when the 71-year-old met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
Rumors about Putin’s health had already surfaced before the interview, with critics pointing to his apparent discomfort and grimacing when he met with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on January 28, suggesting he appeared confused.
Some observers have linked this to possible health problems after years of rumors suggesting he was suffering from cancer or the early stages of Parkinson’s disease.
Restless legs syndrome, also known as Willis-Ekbom disease, is common in people with Parkinson’s disease, although it can have other causes.
The Kremlin has repeatedly denied that Putin is living with any serious medical conditions.
