Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated People’s Artist of the USSR Alisa Freindlikh on her birthday. The corresponding telegram was published on the Kremlin portal.
“You are rightfully considered a magnificent actress, a true luminary of the stage and a real “star” of Russian cinema. For many decades you have remained faithful to your calling, to the audience, delighting them with bright roles, inimitable charm and artistry. And the fans respond to you with sincere, enduring love,” the text of the congratulations says.
The head of state wished the artist “good health, inspiration and all the best.”
Alisa Freindlich was born on December 8, 1934 in Leningrad. She is a People’s Artist of the USSR, a laureate of the Stanislavsky State Prize of the RSFSR, three State Prizes of the Russian Federation, and a prize from the Russian Government.
Since 1983, she has been one of the leading actresses of the BDT (Bolshoi Drama Theater named after Georgy Tovstonogov). Films with her participation were included in the golden fund of Russian cinema – “Office Romance”, “Straw Hat”, “D’Artagnan and the Three Musketeers”, “Stalker”, “Cruel Romance” and many other films.
