MOSCOW — President Vladimir Putin has announced that Russian scientists are on the verge of success in developing vaccines and preventive drugs against cancer. Putin, who announced that it will soon be made available to patients, did not reveal what cancers it might be useful for.
There are currently 6 approved vaccines in the world against the human papilloma virus, which causes some cancers, including cervical cancer.
