Russian President Vladimir Putin intends to hold five telephone conversations, during which he will discuss the war in Israel with his colleagues. This was announced by Assistant to the Head of State Yuri Ushakov. The Russian president will discuss the war with the leaders of the countries involved in the conflict.
“Our president is closely following the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. <…> Before traveling to Beijing, Putin will talk with the main countries related to this conflict, express our position, assessment and considerations of our colleagues. <…> Today [планируется] five telephone conversations,” Yuri Ushakov said during a briefing before his trip to China. His words are reported by a URA.RU correspondent.
The war between Israel and Palestine began on October 7. The Russian Foreign Ministry called on both sides of the conflict to immediately cease fire and sit down at the negotiating table. Later on the war effort reacted Putin. He said the escalation of the conflict is an example of failed US policy. According to him, Washington paid attention only to the material well-being of Palestine.
