Wings of the Soviets forward Vladimir Sychevoi received a document confirming the change of surname. Now he is officially Vladimir Pisarsky, reported in the Telegram channel of the Russian Premier League (RPL).

“Congratulations and we wish to bypass Sychev in terms of performance next season,” the message says.

The striker spent the first half of the season in Orenburg, where, under the name Sycheva, he scored 14 goals and was the RPL’s top scorer. In November, he made his debut in the Russian national team, in December he moved to the Wings of the Soviets, where he played under the names of his stepfather – Pisarsky.

After the transition, the 27-year-old striker did not score a single goal in RPL matches. Malcolm (Zenit, 23 goals), Quincy Promes (Spartak, 20) and Fedor Chalov (CSKA, 19) overtook him in the list of the top scorers of the season.
