In addition to the use of FAB-500 high-explosive aerial bombs, the Ukrainian military has already encountered the one and a half ton aerial bombs, which literally wipe out the defense positions of the Ukrainian army.
The Ukrainian military complains that it is virtually impossible to combat Russian planning bombs. For all the time since the beginning of their use, not a single ammunition has been dropped, because the bombs move very quickly and constantly change their flight trajectory.
Even modern air defense systems supplied by Western countries cannot cope with them, while the number of strikes inflicted by such planning bombs is growing.
The unified planning and correction modules provide the ability to use the bombs at very long distances. This minimizes the likelihood of carrier aircraft being hit and also turns conventional bombs into precision weapons.
In Ukraine, it is feared that precisely because of this Russian decision, the Ukrainian forces could be defeated before they could mount any offensive, as the Russian planes could deliver dozens of devastating strikes in a single sortie.
