TRIBUNNEWS.COM – A Russian plane carrying 28 people, including a child, reportedly crashed into the sea, Mirror report.
The twin-engine An-2 vanishes from radar on the peninsula Kamchatka in the east of the country on Tuesday (6/7/2021).
Rescue teams were dispatched to the area.
Several ships were on their way to the crash site once they were found, according to reports.
The plane departed from the regional capital Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky for the northern village of Palana before losing contact, the emergency ministry confirmed.
A report said that the 39-year-old Antonov turboprop plane got into trouble while preparing to land.

Pacific Fleet Russia was called in to help with the search, along with an airplane and two helicopters.
The local meteorological center said the weather in the area was cloudy, according to reports.
