“To His Excellency Mr. Rumen Radev, President of the Republic of Bulgaria
Your Excellency, Mr. President!
I heartily congratulate you on your re-election to the post of President of Bulgaria.
Your victory in the elections convincingly testifies to the support of your fellow citizens for the proposed course of socio-political and economic development of the country.
The fraternal peoples of Bulgaria and Russia, having common Slavic roots and historical heritage, are connected by one faith and Christian spiritual and moral values, forming the basis of our national cultures. I would especially like to point out that an important contribution to the preservation of this unity is made by the Russian and Bulgarian Local Orthodox Churches, the good relations between which have withstood the difficult tests of time, and I hope that in the future they will also support the strengthening of cooperation between our countries.
I wish you fullness of mental and physical strength, abundant help from God and success in responsible public service, and peace and well-being for the citizens of Bulgaria.
