Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalni, on a hunger strike in prison since the March 31st, has been transferred to a hospital for inmates in a nearby jail, the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia (FSIN, in its acronym in Russian) reported on Monday.

“The decision has been made to transfer A. Navalni to the regional hospital for convicts, qwho is in the IK-3 prison“, said in a statement in the FSIN department for the Vladimir region, where the opponent is serving a sentence.
