Silver medalist of the 2020 Olympic Games Muslim Gadzhimagomedov inflicted the first defeat on Denis Savitsky. The fight lasted all six rounds and ended with a unanimous decision.

The fight between Gadzhimagomedov and Savitsky became the main event of the professional boxing evening organized by Dynamo Boxing Promotions with the support of the Russian Boxing Federation.
This fight was the second in the professional ring for Gadzhimagomedov. In his debut fight, the Russian knocked out Colombian Deibis Berrocal in the second round in December 2021. Savitsky made his debut in the professional ring in the fall of 2018, but his first fight ended in a draw. After that, the boxer had seven more fights, in all of them he won.
