Russian Official Medvedev Proposes “Quiet Partition” of Ukraine by European Countries

A “quiet partition” of Ukraine by Poland and other European countries is better than Kyiv’s entry into NATO or a world war, Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, said today, April 25.

“Better such a quiet division than Ukraine in NATO or a world war,” he stressed in his speech to the participants of the Knowledge marathon, TASS reports.

“Greed and malice, hatred, ambition are often stronger than reason and common sense. To take over the western regions of Ukraine, Poland, yes, let’s face it, and Hungary and Romania have been dreaming for more than a dozen years, ” Medvedev noted.
