Russian occupiers cleaned the deposit boxes of Mariupol residents

The occupiers robbed the deposit boxes in the branch of FUIB.

In the sixth month of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the occupiers emptied the deposit boxes of residents of the temporarily occupied Mariupol.

But they definitely kept the most valuable, by the beginning of the second phase of the war they were closed. Now they are completely cleaned up, to zero,” Andryushchenko noted.

The situation in Mariupol:

The defenders of Azovstal in Mariupol heroically held the line for about two months, diverting the enemy’s forces and preventing him from moving to other directions. The Russian occupiers destroyed Azovstal by firing rockets and bombs across the territory of the plant, firing from artillery and tanks, while carrying out ground attacks and assaults.

On May 16, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the highest military command had given an order to the commanders of the units that are at Azovstal to save the lives of personnel. It was noted that the garrison completed the assigned combat mission.

After midnight on May 17, an operation began to rescue the defenders of Mariupol blocked on the territory of the Azovstal plant.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, on May 16, 53 seriously wounded were evacuated from Azovstal to a medical facility in occupied Novoazovsk. Another 211 people were taken through the humanitarian corridor to the occupied Yelenovka.

Subsequently, the media reported that a total of about 1.7 thousand defenders were evacuated from Azovstal. An exchange is planned to return them home.

On June 6, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced that in the territory of ORDLO maybe more than 2.5 thousand prisoners of war from Azovstal and stressed that now the Main Intelligence Directorate has the task of returning the military home alive.

On the night of July 29 on the territory of the former penal colony in the occupied Yelenovka there was an explosion. As a result, the building was destroyed, which contained Ukrainian prisoners of war, withdrawn from the Azovstal plant.

Immediately after the explosion, Russia accused the Armed Forces of Ukraine of shelling the penal colony. According to the Russian side, more than 50 Ukrainian defenders died, the number of wounded is unknown. The Ukrainian law enforcement agencies called the explosion in Yelenovka a Russian terrorist act to cover up war crimes, discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine and disrupt the supply of weapons.

On August 2, 2022, it became known that the occupiers were planning to rock concert at “Azovstali”.
