Subsequently, the representative of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, Pyotr Yatsenko, told us that the department knew about these prisoners and told us what their relatives should do.

On the morning of December 16, the invaders’ resources began distributing videos of interrogations of Ukrainian prisoners of war. The occupiers claim that the border guards were captured in the Sumy region near the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

It is now impossible to reliably establish all the circumstances under which the defenders were captured. However, in the north, the Russians regularly use sabotage and reconnaissance groups with which they try to break into Ukraine.

Videos of military interrogations may be recorded under duress. The Russians have already begun to use materials for propaganda.
