“The enemy used S-300 missiles against the residential sector. (..) 14 injured, three killed,” Zelensky said in a video call on Saturday evening, adding that the rockets hit four residential houses.
“Unfortunately, such shootings are everyday in our territories, which the Russian army is able to reach with missiles,” said the Ukrainian president.
He stated that “stopping this missile terror would be possible if we could provide adequate missile power to our soldiers”.
“So that terrorists do not feel impunity, Ukraine needs long-range missiles to deprive the occupiers of the opportunity to place their missile systems somewhere far from the front line and destroy peaceful Ukrainian cities,” Zelensky emphasized.
He said that Ukraine will do everything “for the partners to start these vital supplies – specifically, [piegādātu raķetes] ATACMS and other similar weapons”.
