Ukraine suffered another series of Russian missile strikes on Monday morning. Dozens of people were injured as a result. It is the second time in three days that Ukraine has been hit by missiles before dawn.
Press agency AP and the British newspaper The Guardian local authorities report that 34 people were injured in the town of Pavlohrad in the eastern Dnipro region. Among them were five children. Two women were seriously injured.
A total of seven rockets were fired at Pavlohrad, several of which were intercepted. But other missiles did hit. For example, a fire started in a factory where a rocket had hit and dozens of homes, six schools and five shops were hit, it writes AP.
The air raid siren also went off in Kyiv on Monday morning. A total of eighteen rockets were fired at the capital, but most of them were intercepted. Some drones were also reportedly shot down. Local authorities assure that no injuries were reported in Kyiv and more information will be shared later.
