Russian missile hits Ukrainian port after grain export deal

Authority Ukraine said on Saturday (23/7) that the missile Russia had hit the port of Odesa, the main terminal of the Black Sea. This attack comes just one day after Russia and Ukraine signed a deal to resume grain exports from the Black Sea.

“The enemy attacked the Odesa seaport with Kalibr cruise missiles. Two missiles were shot down by air defenses. Two missiles hit the port infrastructure,” Sergiy Bratchuk, Odessa region representative said in a statement on social media as reported by the news agency. AFPSaturday (23/7/2022).

After the attack, Ukrainian authorities denounced the Kremlin and said Moscow was responsible for any food crisis if the deal was to export wheat Ukraine from Odesa failed after a Russian missile hit the Black Sea port.
