“Russian Missile Decoy Made of Concrete Discovered in Poland”

The warhead of the Russian missile that flew over Poland in December and was only discovered in April, it turned out to be made of concrete. The head of the Polish presidential office stated this to journalists, the BBC reports.

“As for the warhead, I can say that it has been found and is being studied by the relevant institutions. It is a special warhead because it is made of concrete“, Pawel Schroth, head of the office of the Polish president, told RFM FM radio.

Schroth suggested that the missile was intended to serve as a decoy for Ukrainian air defense.

“But this missile cannot fly without a warhead, that’s why someone installed this pinnacle of Russian engineering on it,” Schroth was quoted as saying by the PAP news agency.

According to the Polish military, a Russian missile entered Polish airspace from Belarus during the massive Russian missile strike against Ukraine on December 16. Polish specialists watched her flight, but lost sight of her near Bydgoszcz, 400 km from the border with Belarus.

It was found only at the end of April. A local resident accidentally came across her in the forest 15 kilometers from Bydgoszcz. After that, experts from the Technological Institute of the Polish Air Force came to the conclusion that this is the X-55 cruise missile.
