The number of Russian missile carriers in the Black Sea has been increased, according to the Ukrainian command
Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov was asked to compare the war to a 100-meter dash and answer the question of where the country is now. He emphasizes that this is not a sprint distance, but a marathon, UNIAN reports.
According to him, Ukraine needs to build up energy and resources for 42km, maintain the pace and then rush for the last 195m:
“We are participating in a marathon. I can’t say how many kilometers we are from the finish line, it is a very conditional comparison. So far we have successfully run this entire stage”.
Reznikov lists Ukrainian successes: counteroffensive, liberation of territories, skills in shooting down Iranian drones, avoiding a situation without electricity.
“We are holding this marathon and I think we are doing it successfully. The whole country at that. I would like to say how many kilometers we are closer to the finish line, but I can’t say it,” says the minister.
He also states that the country is in a cross-country race, so there is no telling what lies ahead – neither what the terrain will be, nor the soil, nor the weather.
Servicemen from the special OMON unit “Akhmat-1” have been sent to the zone of military operations in Ukraine. This was announced by the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, quoted by world publications.
“The personnel of the Akhmat-1 riot police from the Russian Guard in the Chechen Republic went to replace their comrades-in-arms at the front. The unit includes soldiers with extensive combat experience,” he said on his Telegram channel.
According to Kadyrov, many of these fighters have already participated in the hostilities, including the liberation of strategic sites and settlements in Donbass.
Kadyrov assures that they have everything they need to perform tasks in the war zone – both full combat equipment and modern equipment and weapons.
“Standing by when the enemy unceremoniously encroaches on the most sacred is unacceptable for the Chechen security forces. Everyone present in these footage fully shares this opinion and is ready to make every effort to stop the actions of the ill-wishers. I can tell you I assure that they are fully capable of this,” adds Kadyrov.
In the Black Sea, the number of Russian missile carriers has been increased by three. This was announced by the press center of the command of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, “UNIAN” informs.
As noted, there are seven Russian ships on combat duty in the Black Sea, three of which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles. The total salvo is up to 24 missiles.
In the Sea of Azov – one ship, in the Mediterranean – up to four ships, of which one carrier of cruise missiles “Caliber”, a total salvo – up to 16 missiles.
