Graham met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday. In a redacted video of the meeting released by Zelensky’s office, Graham noted that “Russians are dying” in this war and called US military aid to Ukraine “our best money spent.”

Although Graham’s remarks came at different points in the conversation between him and Zelensky, they appeared side by side in a short video released by the Ukrainian president’s office, causing outrage in Russia.
