On the night of September 29, the Russian military shot down its Su-35 fighter jet near the occupied Tokmak in the Zaporozhye region. They shot it down with a missile from the S-300 system in air defense mode. One of the first to report this was the partisan detachment of Melitopol in his telegram channel “Rotten Cherry”. They also showed a video that can be seen HERE.
The Fighterbomber channel, which is one of the channels associated with the Russian Air Force, writes about the same:

For his part, the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fyodorov, commented on the air of the all-Ukrainian telethon “Edinni Novyni” that the plane “constantly terrorized the Ukrainian military on the front line in Zaporozhye”. He also noted that it was probably a case of “self-destruction” such as has recently been observed among the Russian military. He added that recently “the occupiers are in a bad mood and have no desire to fight”. There have been at least five known cases where the enemy has eliminated its own military because of desertion, he points out, but specifies that it was not desertion that brought down the plane.
