Three Leopard tanks were lost to Ukrainian forces in one day during the fighting
The armed forces of Ukraine have managed to advance in the Avdeev direction. As a result of a tough battle, the fighters from the Ukrainian Armed Forces captured the enemy’s positions, reports “UNIAN”.
The video, published by the General Staff of Ukraine, shows soldiers from the 59th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade storming Russian units, operating in the “classic scheme” – after being showered with heavy fire. The battle is said to have taken place on June 4.
As a result of the battle, Russian soldiers were killed and wounded, as evidenced by drone footage. Smoke rises from the Russian trenches.
The Russian military has repelled the attacks of the armed forces of Ukraine in the South Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Donetsk directions. This statement was made by the Ministry of Defense of Russia, quoted by world publications.
“During the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continued unsuccessful attempts to take offensive actions in the South Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Donetsk directions,” said the official representative of the department, Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov.
He adds that near the Vremevskaya protrusion, the operational-tactical and army aviation struck concentrations of manpower and equipment of the 1st separate brigade of the President of Ukraine, the 110th Territorial Defense Brigade, the 72nd Mechanized and 1- va tank brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Novodonetskoe, Neskuchnoe, Storozhevoe and others.
The Ministry of Defense also reported that three Leopard tanks were lost to the armed forces of Ukraine in one day in the South Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Donetsk directions. In addition to the “leopards”, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost manpower and other equipment.
The Ukrainian military has not stopped attacking in the Yuzhno-Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Donetsk directions, the department emphasizes. All of them have failed.
The total losses of the Ukrainian army in these areas exceeded 50 servicemen, 11 tanks, including three “Leopards”, 17 infantry fighting vehicles, 16 armored fighting vehicles.
In addition, the Ukrainian Air Force lost four vehicles, a Stormer air defense system and an American M777.
In the Zaporizhia direction, the “Vostok” group repelled three attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the directions of Novodanilovka, Mala Tokmachka and Novopokrovka in the Zaporizhia region.
And in the Lukyanovsky region (Zaporizhka region), the Russian armed forces struck the advancing column of armored vehicles of the 128th mountain-assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
