Russian Military Claims Destruction of Ukrainian Anti-Aircraft Tank in Doubt After Video Surfaces

On April 27, the Russian military reported destroying four Ukrainian air defense systems and one anti-aircraft tank in a single day. However, video material that has since surfaced raises doubts about the destruction of the latter.

The video, which the German military blogger “Tendar” uploaded to Twitter, among others, is intended to show how the drone races towards the “cheetah”, hits it and explodes. The tank looks exactly the same after the attack as it did before.

Cheetah got “maybe a few scratches”.

“Tendar” describes the recording as follows: The drone practically bounced off the cheetah. He got “maybe a few scratches”, but one cannot speak of damage, let alone destruction.

Whether the video actually shows the April 27 attack cannot be verified. However, it shows that the German-made cheetah is hardly impressed by Putin’s mega-drone.
