Today, July 4, in Kamchatka over the sea disappeared from the radar “MiG-31”. The military has already begun searching for the aircraft, and the Russian Defense Ministry claims that the fighter crashed during a planned training flight over Avacha Bay.
The aircraft was flying without ammunition. Rescue services were sent to the scene. The search for the crew continues for a considerable time, but there are no reports of any success so far.
It is not yet known whether the pilots managed to eject. The reasons for the accident in the defense department of Shoigu were also not specified.
