Russian Judges Wanted: International Criminal Court’s Arrest Warrant for Vladimir Putin.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation will soon announce that the judges of the International Criminal Court, who issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin, are wanted, reported vesti.bg.

This was announced by the head of the department Alexander Bastrikin, quoted by RAI “Novosti”.

“After that, the Investigative Committee very quickly opened a criminal case against the chairman and three judges who actively influenced the adoption of this decision. Soon, soon we will declare them wanted,” Bastrykin said at an international legal forum in St. Petersburg.

A preliminary panel of the International Criminal Court, whose jurisdiction Russia does not recognize, on March 17 issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and children’s ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova.

The court accepted that “there are reasonable grounds to believe that the suspects are responsible for the war crime – illegal deportation of the population and for the illegal transfer of people from occupied regions of Ukraine to the Russian Federation, to the detriment of Ukrainian children.”
