An Iranian delegation was recently in Russia to see the area where the two countries plan to build a drone factory, writes the Wall Street Journal.
The plan is to construct at least 6,000 Iranian-designed drones in the coming years, for use in the war in Ukraineaccording to spokespersons from one of America’s allies.
A top-level Iranian delegation took part in the trip as part of the new military cooperation between the two countries, the spokespeople said, according to WSJ.
Iran has already supplied Russia with hundreds of drones that have been used against military and civilian targets in Ukraine, according to US officials.
