Canada delivered the second batch of lethal weapons to Ukraine by plane. This was reported in Twitter Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand.

According to her, the delivery of the second batch of lethal military aid to Ukraine was carried out by the Canadian Armed Forces.
“This new Russian invasion is absolutely unacceptable and we will continue to support Ukraine at a time when the country is defending its sovereignty and independence,” Anand wrote.

Also yesterday the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau announced sanctions against Russia for recognizing the “republics” of the occupied parts of Donbass, reports CBC.
Canadians will be banned from making transactions with Russian government debt and doing business with two Russian banks. Sanctions will also be imposed on deputies of the Russian parliament who supported this decision.
