The Bundeswehr’s secret scenario “Alliance Defense 2025” begins in February 2024. Russia is launching another wave of mobilization and calling up another 200 thousand military personnel.
The Kremlin then launches a spring offensive – backed by weak Western support towards Kyiv – which achieves major successes by June 2024 and gradually pushes the Ukrainian army back.
Russian attack on the West
According to the scenario, in July, Russia begins a first covert and then an increasingly open attack on the West.
“Severe cyber attacks and other forms of hybrid warfare, mainly in the Baltic countries, are leading to more and more crises. Russia is beginning to incite ethnic Russian minorities in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania,” the document says.
Clashes are occurring which, according to the scenario, Russia is using as a pretext to launch large-scale maneuvers “West 2024” involving 50 thousand soldiers in western Russia and Belarus from September.
However, as in 2021, Russia is using its supposed maneuver in Belarus to massively deploy troops – on the border with Poland and Lithuania.
According to a secret Bundeswehr document, this could lead to escalation. In October, Russia moves troops and medium-range missiles into Kaliningrad and further arms its exclave with propaganda lies about an imminent NATO attack. The Kremlin’s secret goal: the capture of the Suwalki gap – a narrow Polish-Lithuanian corridor between Belarus and Kaliningrad.
According to the scenario, from December 2024, an artificially provoked “border conflict” and “unrest with numerous casualties” will begin in the Suwalki gap area.
At the very moment when the United States could be left without a leader for several weeks after the possible re-election of Joe Biden, Russia is repeating the 2014 invasion of eastern Ukraine on NATO territory in the scenario of the Bundeswehr exercises.
Soon after, an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council will take place, at which Russia will accuse the West of plotting attacks against Putin’s brutal empire.
According to the exercise scenario, a special meeting of the NATO Council will take place in January 2025, at which Poland and the Baltic countries will announce the growing threat from Russia.
Scenario for 2025
Russia will again use propaganda to reverse the true threat situation and in March 2025 will send additional troops to the Baltic countries and Belarus.
In Belarus alone, the Kremlin would station two armored divisions, a mechanized infantry division and a division headquarters – more than 70 thousand soldiers in total.
In May 2025, according to the Bundeswehr scenario, NATO decides on “credible deterrence measures” to prevent a Russian attack on the Suwalki Gap from Belarus and Kaliningrad.
On “Day X,” according to a secret Bundeswehr document, the NATO commander-in-chief gives the order to transfer 300 thousand soldiers, including 30 thousand Bundeswehr soldiers, to the eastern flank.
