Details: On the evening of April 11, a video of the brutal murder of a Ukrainian prisoner was circulated on social networks. The footage documented how a Russian military cuts off the head of a Ukrainian defender with a knife, who was still alive at that time.
Being in a state of shock, the prisoner screams that he is in pain. The occupiers comment on the execution with the words “We are working, brothers”, “Break the spine that you never cut the head, n *** d.”
The Russians demonstrate the severed head to the camera and say that it should be sent to the commander of the victim.
The face of the occupier who carried out the execution is covered by a mask in the video. The footage shows a Russian military present at the scene of the shocking murder showing the body armor of an executed Ukrainian prisoner to the camera.
Green leaves can also be seen in the video, which may indicate that the recording was made last year.
Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak reacted to the appearance of shocking footage.
“There will be an answer and responsibility for everything,” wrote he’s on Telegram.
What preceded this:
- In May, it became known that the Russian invaders shot an unarmed Ukrainian prisoner of war after the words “Glory to Ukraine.”
- In July last year, a video appeared on the network in which a Russian soldier was torturing a Ukrainian prisoner of war – castrating him with a clerical knife. The Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets said then that he was preparing a message to the UN, the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and the International Red Cross regarding the published video of torture by the occupiers of the military Armed Forces of Ukraine.
