The International Ice Hockey Federation has disqualified Ilya Altybarmakyan and Maria Tyugankina for violating anti-doping rules, the IIHF website reports.

IN doping test 19-year-old Altybarmakyan, who played for SKA-1946 last season, was found to have traces of cocaine in the MHL. The player was suspended for four years, he refused to showdown doping tests B.

19-year-old Tyugankina, who stands for Agidel, passed a positive doping test on furosemide. However, the athlete was able to prove that the drug entered the body with a product, in the annotations to which the prohibited substance was not indicated. Therefore, the time of her disqualification was eight months, and it was counted from January 2020.

The 19-year-old hockey player is the younger brother of the famous striker Andrei Altybarmakyan, who played for SKA and Sochi, and this offseason he signed a contract with Chicago.
