Russia’s ambassador in London, Andrey Kevin, claimed Britain’s decision to send arms supplies to the Ukrainian army had made the war “bloodier”.
His comments came after the Starstreak high-speed missile system, supplied to Ukraine by Britain in March along with anti-tank weapons, was involved in an attack on Russian aircraft in the Luhansk region.
They also listened to British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace’s pledge to send more lethal aid to Kiev.
“All arms supplies are unstable, especially those mentioned by Wallace,” Kevin told Russia’s TASS news agency.
“They made the situation worse, made it even more bloody. Apparently, it is a new high-precision weapon.”

“Of course, our armed forces will see them as legitimate targets if the supplies cross the Ukrainian border,” he said IndependentSunday (3/4/2022).’
