The websites of Arbeidstilsynet and BankID are both out of order on Wednesday morning. It happens, after the Russian hacker group KillNet announced a major computer attack on Wednesday morning.
Altinn writes on his website that “they experience instability”.

The group is a well-known pro-Russian player, which has been behind a number of computer attacks in support of the invasion of Ukraine.
On the social media Telegram, the group posted a picture of Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt with what looks like a Maleficent mask, from the Disney movie of the same name.
Killnet started the day with an emoji of a sun with a small cloud in front, and the text:
– Good morning Norway! All teams to attack!
«Mrs. Error “, they call Norway’s foreign minister.
Will paralyze Norway
The group claims they will attack the Police, BankID, the ID gate at Difi, Nav, UDI, the Directorate of Digitalisation and several other Norwegian websites and online services.
Dagbladet has been in contact with the National Security Authority, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority, who all return with a comment.
Among the sites listed as destinations is Buypass. The company delivers electronic ID and payment solutions.
Confirms attack
Gunnar Lindstøl, general manager of Buypass, says they experience unwanted traffic to some of their servers. The company is prepared for such attacks.
– Right now it is nothing more than that we handle it. However, this is something different from what is usual, he says.
The national security authority will not comment on the case.
– We are familiar with the case, and beyond that we have no comment at the moment, says adviser Herman Hatløy Ringstad in NSM.
Major attacks
Following Russia’s attack on Ukraine in late February, the Russian hacker group Killnet has carried out computer attacks on several states.
The intelligence services of the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand have warned against the hacker group.
“We urge critical infrastructure defenders to be prepared and try to reduce the possibility of potential cyber attacks by sharpening their cyber defenses, and increasing their ability to identify suspicious activity,” the five countries’ intelligence services said in a joint statement in April.
Killnet is said to have carried out attacks on Germany, the Czech Republic, Latvia, and this week they carried out an attack on Lithuania.
Dagbladet comes with more.
