The Russian government intends to increase the salaries of Russian army personnel, following days of armed rebellion by the private Wagner Group
This follows days of armed rebellion by the Russian private military group Wagner, which was not completed, during which the group briefly seized the city of Rostov in southern Russia in the direction of Moscow.
Wagner’s commander, Yevgeny Prigozhin, described the move as a protest against the incompetence and corruption of senior Russian officials.
