The Russian government has decided to transfer the population to new electricity tariffs from January 1.
About it write Russian media citing a government order that was sent down to the regional level.

The new norms must come into force on January 1, 2024. The innovation involves an increase in the tariff rate as consumption increases.
At the same time, according to the resolution, the innovation was required to be implemented throughout the country.

For example, prices for Gazprom consumers will change in two stages – from July 1, 2024 by 8% and by another 8% from July 1, 2025.
Although the macro forecast from September 2022 assumed a more modest increase – 7% each in 2024 and 2025.
The previous time gas prices increased in Russia was from December 1, 2022 – by 8.5%.
