Russian government asks vaccinated people not to have sex for three days | Abroad

Doctor Denis Graifer, Deputy Health Minister in Saratov Oblast, a region near the Kazakh border, has asked the population to refrain from “extra physical exertion” after vaccination, including sex. And the advice didn’t stop there: he also asked the Russians not to drink vodka, smoke, or visit the sauna during that period.

Grafer received a lot of criticism. His colleague, Oleg Kostin, corrected the advice on Russian state television: “Sex is possible, just be careful,” Kostin said.

Lowest in the world

The vaccination rate in Russia is one of the lowest in the world: only 13 percent of the population has now been vaccinated, in the rest of Europe it is an average of 30 percent.
